Anticipatory Loss

Anticipatory grief can be a long, slow experience. Watching a loved one decline and slowly slip away from us is painful. There are so many emotions and difficult thoughts that we will go through. We don’t have to experience this alone.

Join Renee Fesser, a Registered Social Worker at Joshua Tree Learning Centre for a 6-week journey exploring and learning more about this unique grief and how we can learn to connect, support and heal.

When: Virtual and in-person
Starting Saturday, October 16th from 1-3 pm for 6 weeks

Sunday Seniors Craft & Chat

Grief is difficult alone. Are you a senior that has recently experienced a loss of a loved one? Grief and loss are part of life and the life stages. We mourn many things as we age including adjustment to physical change and loss. Losing a spouse and family member can and will be a life-altering event.

Connection helps: Join Renee Fesser registered Social Worker at Joshua Tree Learning Centre, for support and activity connecting with others.

When: Begins Sunday, October 17th from 1-2 pm. This program will continue as a drop-in program until the end of March.
