Women’s Wellness – Hormones & Anxiety
Are you finding yourself anxious and worried about even the little things? You didn’t used to feel this way, but now anxiety is affecting your quality of life. Join Renee Fesser, Registered Social Worker at the Joshua Tree Learning Centre for a 6-week group that focuses on women. Learn more about what everyone should know about hormones and anxiety, and what you can do to get relief. With special guest speaker.
Discussion will include topics such as:
- What is anxiety? How do hormones impact it?
- What makes anxiety different for women?
- Intro to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – What is it and how does it work?
- Relaxation strategies and tools
- Exercise / Diet and Nutrition
- Holistic Modalities
- Life balance- self-care and scheduling resources

Join us for Screenagers, a film about the effect of screens on kids, and the dilemma parents face in creating limits. The film will followed by a panel discussion by Stacey Adelman, Psychologist and Owner of the Joshua Tree Learning Centre and Cathie Kryzanowski, Executive Director of Saskatchewan in Motion on March 25th and 26th, 2019 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Learning Centre office.
