Details: Join Stacey Adelman, Psychologist and Owner of the Joshua Tree Learning Centre, and Rand Teed, an Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist and Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor, as they discuss adolescent substance abuse and how to create an open dialogue in your home to better address issues around drug and alcohol abuse. FOR PARENTS ONLY.

Care for the Caregiver

Come out and experience an uplifting enjoyable group session of relaxation, stress reduction and positivity just for you!  You will learn about and experience a variety of relaxation strategies such as breathing and calming exercises, self-hypnosis, mindfulness, and guided visualization.  Strategies will also be introduced which are helpful in daily life when challenges arise or when things feel overwhelming.  You’ll come away from your session with an abundance of hands-on strategies to implement in daily life.
