Psycho-Educational Assessments
Meghan is a psychometrist specializing in psycho-educational assessments for children and adolescents. She holds a Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Regina, where she is set to convocate in October 2024. Meghan also completed a Bachelor of Education with a Secondary Health Major and a Minor in Inclusive Education, earning the distinction of Academic All-Canadian multiple times. She also holds a Certificate of Extended Studies in Inclusive Education, further solidifying her commitment to creating inclusive educational environments. Meghan is passionate about supporting the cognitive, emotional, and academic development of young learners, using evidence-based assessment tools to inform individualized learning strategies.
Meghan’s passion for educational psychology stems from her love for working with children and her desire to support families in creating positive and inclusive learning environments. She takes a holistic, strength-based approach to her work, collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to design individualized learning plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
Outside of her work, Meghan is a proud member of a farming family and cherishes her time spent on the farm with her husband, daughter, and extended family. She is also passionate about sports, particularly hockey, having been a member of the University of Regina Cougar Women’s Hockey team. Meghan values the importance of physical movement and teamwork in personal growth and development.
Meghan looks forward to supporting clients at Joshua Tree Learning Centre through comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, contributing to their learning success and overall well-being.
