Karen Wotherspoon is a Registered Psychologist. She completed her Masters in Educational Psychology in 2008, and has over 15 years of experience in counselling and assessment. She is registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists and is a member of the Psychology Association of Saskatchewan.

She has had a variety of prior experiences including working with children, adolescents and adults. She has worked with individuals, couples, families and has facilitated a variety of groups. Additional post-graduate training includes a wide variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Attachment and Commitment Therapy. She takes a holistic and collaborative approach with her clients, aiming to find an approach that works best for each individual. Her experience as an adoptive mom to three busy children has fostered an interest in learning more about parenting, trauma, and attachment. She is certified in Assessment and Treatment Planning through Circle of Security Parenting™. Some of her main interests are working with people in the areas of connection, acceptance, mindfulness, and anxiety.
