Coping With the Anxiety of Returning Back to School

An Evening for Teachers, Educational Assistants, Administrators and Support Staff Who Will be Working in Our Schools

Anxiety for our educators may be high as we lead our children and families back to school during a pandemic. We believe it is essential to support those who hold our children in their care each day. Our goal is to provide a sense of agency and control, to provide practical strategies to move through this anxiety together.

Stacey Adelman, Registered Psychologist and former teacher, and Nannette Choboter, Registered Nurse at the COVID Assessment Centre in Regina, and yoga instructor at Joshua Tree Learning Centre, invite you to attend a one-hour FREE session to learn practical strategies to help manage symptoms of anxiety while returning to school during COVID19. Nannette will share some practical strategies to help manage the spread of COVID19 in schools and will share how she manages anxiety while working as a nurse in this pandemic. Bring your yoga mat!! Nannette will be guiding you through a yoga lesson that you can participate in from the comfort of your own home.
