Taming Worry Dragons
A Group for Children Experiencing Anxiety
Does your child struggle with worry, nervous feelings, or anxious thoughts?
Taming Worry Dragons is a supportive therapy group designed to help children better understand anxiety and learn practical ways to manage it.
In a safe and welcoming environment, children will explore their feelings, learn to recognize their own “worry dragons,” and develop tools to help tame them.
Using child-friendly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) techniques, participants will:
- Learn what anxiety is and why it happens
- Identify and understand their “worry dragons”
- Practice healthy coping strategies
- Build confidence in managing anxious thoughts and feelings
- Connect with other children who share similar experiences
