TRACY SABO

INCLUSIVE DANCE INSTRUCTOR

What a kick to welcome Tracy Sabo as our Inclusive Dance Instructor! Tracy teaches Rhythmworks, a hip-hop dance program celebrating children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder and other learning differences.

Tracy had the best “dance partner” a girl could ask for in her mom, Joyce. They owned and operated Footworks Dance Studio in Saskatoon for 25 years.

Tracy found another fulfilling career as a mother of three, then was blessed yet again to serve as an Intervenor with the Canadian Deafblind Association for five years before moving to Moose Jaw.

After a very brief retirement, Tracy danced back into teaching again in Regina, where she’s met a wonderful group of people who share a vision for our community’s children. Her philosophy is to teach each child based on their own unique potential and help them shine through the joy of dance.

Talk about music to our ears!

Tracy has Fibromyalgia and is thankful for her service dog, Lola. For what Lola lacks in dance ability she sure makes up for in charm. We’re delighted to have them both part of the Joshua Tree family!
