Trauma Informed Yoga for HealthCare Professionals


This 60-minute beginner yoga class will focus on bringing your body and mind to a resting, relaxing state using breath and stillness. The majority of the poses will be on the mat. For each class we will start with meditation and/or breathwork and then work into longer holds using yin postures which lengthen and stretch the fascia and connective tissues of the body. We will end with restorative poses creating a blissful peaceful state of calm.

Various breathwork techniques will be offered throughout the session as well as meditation and mindfulness practices that can be applied in your everyday world.

Maximum 8 people.

Classes 1 hour in length.

8-week class starting October 20th.
