Carloyn CaulOrton-Gillingham Tutor
Carolyn Caul is certified by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham as an Associate Level Dyslexia Educator. As a parent of two sons who have been diagnosed with Dyslexia she is passionate in helping students who have been unsuccessful in schooling or other types of tutoring programs. She has explored many different types of instruction for Dyslexia including: Lindamood Bell, Arrowsmith Schooling, Davis Dyslexia programming, and Orton Gillingham training.
Carolyn is a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Regina. She has also taught hearing children from K-9 and is especially familiar with teaching literacy and language to young children and to students whose first language is not English. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Education degree from University of Regina, a Diploma in Deaf Education from University of Alberta, and a Masters in Educational Administration from University of Regina.
Carolyn understands the struggle and blessings of Dyslexia. It is her goal to help parents and children understand their learning disability and to instill the love of reading. As well, it is hoped that her clients will better understand their needs so they can advocate for accommodations that will help them be more successful in their schooling.
